Somehow.. that line really scares me…

This place sure has become rusty. Updates are non existence for the fact that, I do not know what to write anymore. I guess I went back to my old self where keeping things to myself seems so much better than to let it out. An introvert I might add…

Sometimes I wonder… can anyone ever truly forget their past? Does not forgetting the past means u still have “hang over” about it? That became the debate we had today. I just wished I understood this…

and it makes me feel very fortunate that I’m with a very highly trained team, people who I know I can count on if I suddenly collapsed and my life is in danger. I hope my battalion feels the same way about my BCS team.

I have been away for reservist training since the 18th May. During a 1 day mission last week, we had one soldier who suffered from heat stroke. When he was first spotted, he was trembling. Upon being asked questions, he answered incoherently. He was directed to one of my medics, who monitored his vital signs. His temperature at that point of time was 36.6 which is still pretty normal. This soldier was recommended to be evacuated to the nearest medical center. The trip to the medical center took only bout 7 mins but by then, his temp was already over 39 degrees. He was rushed to NUH. He reached the hospital where his temp was recorded over 41 degrees. IV lines were inserted, and he was intubated. He is now still out of the ICU and his parameters have remained stable.

Thanks to my Medical Officer and my medics, now I feel safe when I’m training with them.. I’m really proud of my medical team..

I always get very interesting conversation when I ride in cabs. Its amazing what stories these cab drivers can share with you. I guess they just need someone to talk to every once in a while

Some of the interesting ones I’ve come across are

telling me to get a gf who likes sex.. else marriage wun be fun. Which is why he has a gf even if he is married cos his wife dun like it so much :S

telling me that the girl in the bus stop we just passed by is hot

telling me how he’s a part time ghost buster/medium/etc and that he met so many ghosts…

telling me of the biz plans he has.. (some are really gd plans!)

Sometimes, I think its weird… but its ok.. never hurts to listen

What’s up with flash websites. They take too long to load, and you can’t bookmark a particular page. Every time u load the page, there’s crappy/cheesy background music playing. Its really very irritating but it seems like the majority of interior design web sites uses it. I guess programmers and designers never see eye to eye. I dun really care much for the design if I can get the info that I need. We need more pages like google..

For now, I’ll just ignore these sites… I hate long load time..
