So valentine day dinner came early this year. Instead of jostling with the crowd on 14th Feb, we had ours on the 7th. Not many people actually go out for dinner that night so it was a nice, quiet evening that I shared with Mariz.
Dinner was at Pan Pacific hotel. A seafood kinda buffet. Lobsters, crayfish, prawns, shrimps, salmon, crabs. The food is really good I suppose, if the cook can be more consistent with the taste. That was our complain. The last order was salty. Really salty that we just left it unfinished. Service at this restaurant was disappointing too. $160 for a buffet dinner for too with service like this is a waste of money. I really never expected such bad service.
Anyway, all that did not matter much as seeing her face light up when I present to her my gift made it all worthwhile
So here are some of the numerous pictures I took in that lovely night..

My gift for her. A 19 piece diamond bracelet

It fits her just fine

Harbourlink was my office was for the last 2 years. My cube was cramp but still pretty cosy. 19th Dec was my last day in this office before I moved to the new one in Comtech so I took some photos just for memory. To be exact, Mariz was the one taking all the pics cos I was still busy at work, on the last day of the year. Yup.. HP forced all of us to take 7 days leave as a cost saving move.

Almost everyone packed their things already except me, who’s still busy at work!

Check out my cube. So colorful. hahaa.. Most of the time, my com monitor will be just like this.. mainly black and white HPUX console. No fanciful GUI
On this last day of work, a few of us also decided to take a very very long lunch (3.5 hrs) to go to the Singapore Flyer

Waiting for our turn to go up into the capsule

The view fron inside our capsule

The 3 girls

All 5 of us who went for the flyer

Almost reaching the bottom now
It was a gd way to end the year
A picture paints a thousand words. Its hard to describe how beautiful Boracay is so I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking

The beautiful sunset on my first day there

The white sands, blue water and the best company I can ever hope for

Sunny weather, beach umbrellas, nice deck chairs, cool breeze.. a little piece of heaven

Beach is not that crowded too

Look at how lively it is at night
