Yet another xmas. Usually I would spend the day at home. Town is always crowded. Its like the entire SG is there, and I hate jostling about in the crowd. This yr, its different though. That’s cos a gd fren of mine is in town.

I’ve not met Reza for so long now and was surprised when he called to say he was in town. It feels kinda warm when you know people you’ve not talked to for a long time actually still remembers you. Met him up for dinner and reminisce on the gd old days, when we were still in uni. He was my project/study/hanging out/bitchin buddy and I had loads of fun with him while we were in Melbourne.

Apart from that, this xmas has been kind of an extravagant one for me. Lets just say I pampered myself with lots of stuff Well its not all for xmas but over the last 1.5 mths, I’ve gotten myself a 80 gig Archos Media Player (best buy ever, thx to amazon ), a PSP set fully moded to play off the 4gig card it came with (thx sayang for this ), and the finale… a Sony 32″ lcd tv

I think I got a pretty gd deal on all of it. Amazon dropped the price of the Archos by US$55 last week due to a 3 day xmas sale. I emailed them about it and they refunded me the price difference thats US$55 refunded to me.. Hehh.. excellent service by amazon. The TV i got it for 1099 with a dvd player and a $150 giant voucher

I will now spend the next many days redesigning my room. Time to get rid of the old stuff, to make room for the new ones. Yr 2008 is gonna be soooo sweet

So the festive season is here. Hari Raya, Xmas, New Yr… I’m so in the mood not to work. Thanks god that its also the HP closure period so no more work till next year. Plus the num of compensation time off i took, I get a really long holiday. Since Wed actually, till next year

Have been more free recently and finally got time to work on my site, PictureSteal. Managed to add a long awaited feature, which is a flash slideshow. You’ll see it at the end of my post Problem wasn’t really that its hard to implement but more to a security thinghy I’ve been trying to work out. I did not want people to be able to just put in the albumid of any album and get access to all the pictures… Technical stuff but anyway, managed to overcome it with a very very neat 2 way encryption
