I’m finally back. Flight home was way too long. 13hrs from San frans to Seoul. Arrrghhh… such small seats. Can’t even stretch properly. Saw the people on business class and their seats sure look comfy. Tsk tsk… I better start working harder so that the next time I fly, it will be business class at least
I did not get stopped at either airport customs so thats gd. I was so afraid that my luggage will be over the weight limit but decided to take the risk. My cab driver advised me to get another luggage since each luggage cannot exceed 32kg. I said its ok and he carried my luggage to test it. After a while, he said its gd to go since its only 30kg. WOW!! he can estimate the weight just by carrying it… At the airport, when i was checking in, it was really 30kg. Gd guess
So i had this big 30kg luggage I checked in, when it was only 10kg when I got to US. Thats an extra 20Kg of stuff. I was carrying another hand held plastic bag too with the Nintendo WII. I had a gd shopping trip
US$3000+ of electronic items, and more than 10Kg of chocolate for family and friends
At changi airport, nobody checked my bag too so it was gd. Nothing was taxed. hehh
So now I’m nack to work. Life is slowly returning to normalcy. My office still sucks.. My cube is so small… Even an intern’s cube back in Palo Alto is biger than mine.. tsk tsk… the luxury.. sigh… eventually I guess….
Thx to HP for making this trip possible. I hope they reimburse me fast, the SG$6200+ that I paid for this trip. That includes my meal, hotel, transport and entertainment cost
I’ve lived like a king the last 3 weeks.. Awesome!
This has been yet another career boost for me. Patiently waiting for another healthy pay increment this feb
In 8 hrs time, I will be flying back to Singapore. My stay here in Palo Alto, HP’s head office has been very very fun. I’ve earned so much experience from this trip. Its a great opportunity for me to meet some of my team members and people I’ve worked with. Everyone’s so knowledgable and experience. It’s been an honour

This is my current project grp
Last few nights have been fun
I got to meet up with Raymond and his family on Tuesday. We ate at this Chinese restaurant near his place and guess what? Its a halal chinese restaurant. Hahaha its awesome
Went to his house after that and played WII tennis with his daughter. I lost pretty badly though but I will be back when I get more practice. BTW, his daughter is only 3 years old. HAhahhahaha this sucks..

Cute isn’t she
Wed night was spend having dinner with my original project grp (This was the grp that managed the release 1 & 2 of the project). I really loved working with them. Highly technical people who have guided me a lot over the last 1 yr. I have matured so much in my career all thanks to them. It has been a fantastic journey. Thanks guys..

Te original lineup when the Workforce Excellence Project was launched
I’ve gotten used to living like a king here.. Nice hotel, people making my bed every morning, a cab waiting to take me to the office every morning, not having to even look at the price when eating dinner cos HP paid for everything
My hotel and accomodation for this entire 3 weeks trip cost HP 6.5k already
Kinda reluctant to go back now but my work is done.. and its time for me to come home.. This trip has been a successful one. here’s to more business travel next yr… Adios…
K i think I bought too much things. I’m having difficulty packing my luggage. Check out how much I’ve shopped for the last 2 weeks.. Its crazy but its sooo cheap. hehh
Well… most of it is not for myself. I used to think SG has very cheap electronic products but guess I’m wrong. Its sooo much cheaper here.
Damage so far? 4 * iPhones (most likely another 2 on the way), 1 * Nintendo WII, 1 * WII Play, 1 * Archos 605 80gig, 1 * Archos gen 5 DVR station, bout 10kg of chocs, some VS products, Levis jeans, Ralph Lauren shirt.. tsk tsk.. The challenge now is to fit everything in my luggage..

Oh yah.. my stay here go extended another few more days
Was supposed to fly back on Sat noon, but will now fly back on thurs noon instead. And since I have to stay a few more days, my weekend stay in this USD$250/night hotel will be free… Lovely
A picture says a thousand words. Or so they say.. but my picture, just shows how much I’ve spent. I need to stop buying.. Can’t help it.. Everything is at least 40% cheaper

Thats right
4 iphones. All of them activated and sim card unlock and tested to e working fine on my M1 sim card
Will be packing my bags soon and if there is enough space, might be buying more iphones. Its really sleek
