Muahahaha that’s right My presence has been requested by the US business team. I will be going to California, Palo Alto, on the 5th Nov - 15th Nov for the Workforce Excellence Project (WEP) performance testing. I will be 1 of 2 member of the infrastructure team to help support the business team during this performance testing

I will be meeting up with the new Infrastructure member too from China and during this time, I will be mentoring him. Not bad huh The project commitment will be from 7th - 14th but will be arriving earlier to get used to the time diff. Will most likely extend my stay too, by maybe a week, just to travel around. I’m so excited

Flight tickets have been booked. Accomodation booking is in the process. I’m all ready to go now. My 11 day business trip cost HP more than SG$6k. Not bad.. not bad.. and I don’t even have to pay anything. Hehh… Awesome

USA! Here I come!!

I’ve been really lazy to write these days. Guess its due to my life being really boring so nothing much to write about. Everything’s still the same with me. Still working in HP. Still earning enough and happy with it. Still hanging out with the same grp of friends, although I did make new frens too whom I’ve been hanging out with every week They’re my bowling buddies and I’ve never met anyone who’s so passionate bout bowling before

Work has been a drag last week. I’ll be transitioning from my current project to another one although I’m not sure what the new one will be. It feels disheartening to have babysit a project for an entire yr, building it up from scratch to where it was today only to have to give it up to a totally new member of the team. I hope my next project will be a gd one.

Black Sabbath’s gig at fort canning hill yesterday was awesome Such an energetic rock grp, considering the members are over 60 yrs old? The sound system was gd and the atmosphere was just electric. Old school hard rock. Just what I needed now. Bands these days just dun come close (Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 btw). In all, worth my every 85 bucks I spend for the tickets

Hari raya is already half gone. It sure feels different without my grandparents around. It just feels.. lonely. And i really miss them so. As with my family tradition, we had an open house on the 2nd day of raya. The crowd was as huge as ever.

The fasting month is finally over. The festive month is here once more. To all my muslim friends, I wish them all, SELAMAT HARI RAYA, MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN.

This hari raya is the 2nd yr I’m giving green packet to all my cousins. Last yr, it was $10 per person but I’ve increased it to $15 this year What goes around comes around. I got more than 50% pay increment this year so let me share this blessings

First day of raya is hectic as usual, visiting all the elderly relatives. Kinda tiring I must say but wouldn’t miss it for the world. Lots of gd food to eat too. Guess whatever weight I’ve lost the past month due to my fasting will be gained back pretty soon. Hehhh

Been on leave since thursday and its so nice to be able to just rest. HP is really a gd company to work for. Fri half day and Mon is a replacement holiday. Awesome.. With my thursday and fri morning leave, I got 5 straight days of no work.. YAY!!! Loving this company more and more…

So we had a mini site party yest, 5th Oct. We were broken up into 8 grps of 8 people and sent to Vivo City, where we had to solve puzzles and complete certain task.

Given a piece of paper with 7 puzzles, we had to solve them to know what are the items and location it’s describing and take a grp photo with it. Some of the puzzles are really tricky.

In all, it was really fun. Look at the photos and you will know why
