Work has been pretty boring for the last 2 days. My monday is US sunday so I had not much thing to do. The following day, is a US public holiday so I was quite free too. Real boring. Ended up reading comics, playing sodoku, watching youtube or chatting with my frens on msn. Lol.. can’t beleive I’m being paid for this. There are work to do of course, but very minimal. Early week is usually like this.

Today, work is starting to pick up again. Lots of deployments to do. Lots of server errors to investigate etc At least it keeps me busy. Heh.. Managed to talk to my manager and he said its ok for me to take a few days leave. He’s like a small kid though.. my conversation with him went something like this..

me: Hi jeff, is it all right if I take a 2-3 days leave end of June?
him: nope!
me: Huh? Is there any important thing going on then?
him: Hehehehhhh… just joking.. go ahead take your leave but remember to indicate it on the team calender..

ZZZZZZZZZZ…. imagine my manager acting like a kid.. lol.. Can’t blame him lah.. after all he’s only 28-29 year old.. So young and yet already a manager..

Went roller blading with Ashok on Monday night after work and it was cool. He’s quite good with the skates. Met him at harbour front after work and his dad drove us to east coast. It was a last minute thinghy cos he only called me up 45 mins before I finished work asking if I wanted to go, so I did not bring my blades along. Had to rent it there. Haiz.. But still, it was kinda fun. His dad even fetched us home.. awesome..

Gotto do this again some day. Definately much more fun than running. Heh..

Wheeeeeee….. My weekend has been fun. Movie on friday night was good. The Da Vinci Code. There are things I didn’t really understand though. The entire conspiracy they wanted to hide was that Jesus had a wife, who eventually gave birth. What’s so bad about that? Does that make him less of a great man? Just cause he had a wife? Why are christians so unhappy bout this? If they claim that Jesus is god’s son, that would mean god has a son. If god has a son, why are they unhappy that Jesus has a heir here? And why are they worshipping god’s son instead of god himself? Hmmm….

Following day, A sat was also fun. Met up with the gang at 9.15 at lakeside MRT to go skate. Took a train down to bedok where we met up with Nasir’s gf, than took a bus to East Coast Park. Weather was nice. Reached there at bout 10.30. Finally.. time for me to test out my blades. The rest rented their blades.

My blade was pretty awesome. Really fast and comfy. The entire skating session was cool. Omkar and Nasir were beginners but after the entire session, they got the hang of it. Seems to me Nasir is skating better than Omkar. Even Nasir’s gf is better than him. Hahahahhaaaa…. Highlights of the entire session was with Omkar and Nasir. Nasir fell down while going down a slope and had this huge hole in his knee. Ouch! And Om kept looking for lamp post to hug so that he can stop, or grass patch where he can fall to to stop himself. Pretty hilarious especially the last round when he couldn’t find any lamp post and tried to stop himself by leaning on a bush. Hahahaha stupid shit.. Did I mention that Omkar fell so many times oh his butt, he tore a hole in his berms, at the butt area. Hahhahahahhahaaaaa…. His entire butt crack was wet and now it even has a hole revealing his blue briefs. lol..

Went for lunch at the hawker after our session.. Food was gd. Satay was awesome. Yum… Timing was gd too. When we were leaving the beach to go home, it was drizzling slightly. Luckily weather was fine while we were skating. Went to parkway parade shopping center to loiter around before going home to sleep. Great day..

Sunday was another movie day. Watched Xmen 3 with Vinton. Real cool movie with all the special effects. Some of the mutants are damn useless. Like the spiky porcupine guy. Lame.. magneto was awesome with all his costume and powers. Heard that there was actually a spoiler to the next episode at the end of the movie after all the credits. I missed it though. damn.. why do they have to put it right at the back. I didn’t even know bout it untill Wis told me bout it after the movie… Darn..

In the evening, I finally went to select the graduation pictures I took at the studio. They took so many photos. 67 to be exact and I need to choose a couple which I think its nice and it will be printed. Took a really long time to select. So many nice pictures but we can only choose a total of 4 diff ones. Picture will be ready in 1 week time. Nice…

Payday coming soon. Weekend was great. Coupled with wat Nasir did, I’m in really high spirits. Hahaha thx dude. That was really unexpected to get a call from you telling me you actually called ur friend. Pretty contented right now I hope every weekend will be like this and I hope too, that everyone had a great weekend too Anyway, anyone interested to go skating with me?

Yay!!! Its finally friday. The weekends are here. This week has been good. Work was not as boring since I was finally given access to the most of HP’s servers for me to do my work. I learnt a lot of things this week. Mainly how to coordinate with the Database Admins when doing deployment and implementation of huge enterprise wide applications. Pretty cool.. Been handling a few of those the last few days. I just realised that some of HP’s database servers are running on a 16cpu 32 Gig memory servers. Woahh…. Pretty powerful computers they have

This weekend is gonna be fun. Have a few activities planned out starting with tonight. I’m going for a movie later with Liyana The da vinci code. I heard its quite a good movie. Meeting Liyana at 9pm and movie starts at 9.20. Haven’t seen her for a long time and I wonder how she is now

Tom, will be going to east coast to roller blade with NOMAD. Ashok won;t be coming though cos he’s got to attend some party. I’m finally gonna be able to fully test out my skates. Om and Nasir dun know how to skate so it should be a funny day. Can imagine them falling down a lot. Hahaha…

Gym session yest was good. I feel energised. Looks like I’m back on track with my training. I’m now working out at the gym every mon and wed after work. Trying to keep a consistent schedule so that I can maximise my training. Usually, I’ll meet up with Joachim and will always sit down and have some drinks first before starting our workout. 1hr later, we’ll head for the sauna before going home. Relaxing…

I started skating too today. With my sis under my block. It was just a leisure skate to let me get use to my new skates. It sure is comfy and can go fast. I seem to be doing pretty well for a beginner. Maybe the experience I have surfing, skiing and roller skating helps. Muahaha fun fun fun…

Work was boring today. Not much work to do. Can’t wait for the weekend. Its only tues and still a long way to go but this weekend is gonna be so interesting Skating at east coast, movies chilling out with frens etc. Ever since I started working, I feel that the weekends are really so precious to me. Hahahaha… 3 more days….

Thats my blade model that I just bought today. YES! I finally got my roller blades. At a cool price of 260 bucks. Hehehh.. Its a really nice set. Comfy and most importantly, it can go fast. Not that I’ve skated before but I just like it to go fast. No doubt I’m gonna fall down many times before I get the hang of it but it should be easy. If I can surf and ski, I should be able to skate. Muahahahaa…

Talking bout surfing, I was at east coast beach today and there was this group of malay mats. They had this small kinda surf boards and they were surfing??? WTF! The waves were barely ankle lvl and there they are trying to surf? Looks more like they’re making a fool of themselves. Hahahhaa…. They waited by the shore, and when the see the small waves coming in, they will run and then jump on their surf board and skim for like 2 secs at most and they come out of the water looking happy. Muahahahha lame ass mats. Looking so proud you can do this lame shit. A huge group of them too. Fancy that! Paying for a surf board to surf on ankle high waves?? Incredibly stupid. Can’t help laughing at them. Reminds me back of my surfing trip back in Dec last yr. You wanna surf, thats the proper type of waves. Waist high and consistent. Man…. I miss torquay. I miss surfing. I feel like surfing now

Anyway, rushed down to grandma’s place after buying my skates. Its her birthday and we ordered some catering service to celebrate. Food variety is gd but atlas, the taste is not that wonderful. Just average at most. Only thing really good was the buttered prawns.. Yum….

Yest was pretty cool too. Met up with Om to go shopping. Hahahaha… In the end, his conclusion was that guys can’t shop. I wanted to get some berms/shorts and I thought he can gimme some comments on which look good. I thought wrong. Utterly useless just like me. Hahahahaha….. Finally decided on this Bum Equipment berms and after trying it, I asked him which color would be nice. Both of us really cant decide so we asked the sales girl instead.

Wtf! Hahahaha damn Om… Finally got the dark brown color berms.. Fruitful journey. Not only I managed to get my things, we also completed the discussion on our project. Tied down on many thigns. Hopefully this time around, it will be successful. The last project was a complete failure.
