YAY!!! Monday is a public holiday so I get to have a 3 day weekend.. I like… Makes the week seems so much shorter which is gd cos work can be a drag sometimes. Gordon, from US will be coming down next week to train me up for my duty so I can imagine there is gonna be tons of things for me to learn. More work to do. Haiz… Hope I won’t have to work late.

Not doing much at work now also. Mostly development work with asp.net. Tools that my team can use to make their life slightly easier. lol.. Got lots of comments for the last entry bout my desk at work too. Mostly telling me I need to decorate it. Hahahhaaa… I will in due time.

This is what my desk at work looks like. Very plain and uncluttered. Nothing there but my new laptop. Heh..

The laptop is pretty awesome. So much faster than even my own laptop. Ultra high resolution of 1400 x 1050 which makes my own laptop looks like crap. After having use this new laptop for a while, I can’t get use to the ugly display of my old one Equiped with bluetooth, I can easily transfer pictures taken from my phone. Like the above picture. Way cool Dota looks very good on it too and loads up much faster too

Next week seems pretty good. 3 straight long weekend for me. Yipeee… Plus I would have also received my pay and the government bonus. Wah… I’m rich? Lol. The new guy who’s joining my team decided to cancel his appointment so I’m unsure if there’s any more new guy coming. I hope there is. I’m pretty bored here. Its Thursday and I feel so lazy. Can’t wait for the weekends

Muahahahaa.. I came to work today and Esther informed me my new laptop is ready for collection. Went to her desk and there it was. A brand new HP laptop still unopened in the box. Yay Laptop looks good. Looks better than my current laptop. It has faster speed, higher resolution screen, a nice tactile keyboard, bluetooth and wifi built in and even more ram. Awesome. Only complain I have is that it does not have an intergrated graphics card so I’m not sure how it would handle my games. heh..

Lunch was pretty all right. As usual, its with the same group of people. Esther, Ling Wee and Kevin. Nice people. Everyday at 11.30 sharp, Esther would msn everyone for lunch. Lunch breaks usually ended up bout 1.5 hrs. Cool

Weekend was pretty all right too. Went for dinner with Ricko, Vinton and Reza at bukit panjang. Then met up at bout 2am for supper with Omkar and Ashok. Prata was gd. Company was great. What more can I ask for. Sunday was a wedding ceremony at Tampinese. Dropped by Gina’s work place to give her a surprise. A huge bunch of flowers. 3 roses surrounded by some other flowers. When she saw me with the flowers, her face turned as red as a lobster. HAhahaa so cute.. I’ve never met anyone who blushes as much as her. Her eye lashes are pretty long now. Very drama but its nice… flutter flutter…

Really looking forward till next week. Pay day plus govt bonus == rich me. Hahahah and the 3 long weekend in a row is gonna be great

I’ve got so many things I wanna say but I guess most things are better left unsaid……….

Been pretty lazy to update my page these days. Maybe I’m just sick of facing the computer cos thats what I’ve been doing these last 2 weeks at work. Pretty boring life I must say. I’m still clueless as to what I’m really suppose to do at work since my training will only start next month. I do have some developement work to do though to keep me occupied. Nothing huge. Just some tools that might be useful for my team in US.

I like my work place. Its great. Flexible working hours, flexible lunch time. Just the way I like it. I come to work not later than 9 and leave by 6. breakfast every morning with my parents, before taking a bus to Alexandra. Bus ride is fast. 25 mins at most. Lunch has also been great this past week. Been going out with my colleagues and we have pretty long lunches. 1.5 hrs lunch at least. Awesome…

I realised I’m the youngest in my dept. The youngest guy actually. The youngest person is a 23yo girl. Most of my colleagues has been working for at least a yr and all of them have past experience before joining HP. I guess I’m lucky to be accepted here when I’m just fresh grad with no working experience

Went for my first virtual training yesterday. Its a meeting of sort where the presenter teaches us how to use the company’s system to apply for leave and claims. Pretty high tech. We have to first login to the classroom page on the net where the presenter’s computer screen is being shared with us. Then we called a number (aussie if I’m not wrong), to listen in to the meeting. At any point of time if you need to ask a question, you just dial *1 on the phone and ur microphone will be activated. We can also chat with everyone who’s attending the meeting too, via a IRC type chat board. Ended up that most of us were chatting with each other instead of listening to the meeting. lol…. My meeting in the future will most likely be like this too since every member of my team is in US. heh…

Next week, I’m gonna start to provide support for a new application. We’re currently migrating existing users to the new system and my manager said he will give me a crash course on what I need to know to support this system. I hope everything goes well

Been coming home late the last 2 nights. It has been pretty fun. Met up with Joa on thursday after work to go to the gym. Then met up with Ricko and Vinton for dinner, before all of us went out to play some DOTA. Pretty funny night. We lost both games but it was really hilarious the way I caused most of my team mates death. Hahahaa..

Friday night, went out for dinner with my family. Met up with NOMAD after that at the McDonald at west coast. Omkar, Darwis and Nasir were playing on the swings in the park nearby, laughing and screaming like little girls. Lol… Just sat at the McDonald chatting while waiting for Ashok to come back and send us home. He had to run some errands so he left halfway and came back only much later.

It sure was fun to meet up with all them again after so long. We’ve been close friends for more than 13 years and I really enjoy their company. Talked bout so many things. Ashok came back after a while. Aleem dropped by too but that was just a coincident. He went there for dinner and we happened to meet him. He’s getting married this July. Good for him Nasir will be getting maried too next yr. Good for him too

Met Noraini too at the McDonald. She’s working there. Still looking as pretty as before. We left for home at bout 1am. There was some problems going back though. Ashok’s sis was driving the car and she had her friend with her. In the end, all 5 of us had to squeeze in the back seat. Hahahaha… it was so damn crammed behind. 5 men in the back seat. We did get home in 1 piece though and this is how we look like
