Went for the finals at The Tote yesterday and was really inpressed with the bands playing that night. Came late and missed the 1st 2 bands. Only managed to catch the other 4 bands.

SPG was there too. Someone actually asked why they name their band SPG and what does it mean. The band leader replied saying that SPG means Singapore Party Girls. Hehehe.. They have really funny songs. One of them is “C is for Cooking”. Seems to me like this song was influenced from Sesame Street. The other hilarious song is “Available for sex after the Show”. Hahaha the lyrics was so funny.. They didn’t win the finals though.

The last band that played really blew me away. It was by far the best band I’ve seen throughout the competition and it was no wonder they won the finals. It was a 6 man band and it was a very nice set up complete with keyboard and bongos? Is that how u spell it? Direct Influence is the group name and they will be representing RMIT for the Jim Beam Inter Uni band competition on the 17th Sept. That will be a hell of a band competition.

Today has been such a boring day. Stayed home the whole day and the boredom is killing me. Yesterday was fun though..

Met Erlina after school and went for a late lunch with her. Then we took a walk down Lygon street and went to Borders. Browsed through some books for a while and then we just sat along lygon street to just watch the world go by. Weather was nice and cooling. Sat for quite a while just chatting.

Took a tram to town and stopped by at this nice cafe to have some cakes and hot chocolate after that. Reached home only at bout 10.30.

Hopefully, tomorrow won’t be such a boring day. Meeting Joachim in the morning to go to the gym and in the evening, will be going down to Collingwood with Erlina, to watch the RMIT band competition finals at The Tote. The band SPG will be there and Erlina is just dying to catch them again. Hehehe

Not really sure if it was really him who posted the entry or someone else pretending to be him but whoever it is, that person can rest assure I will trace him back..

To the person who made that post, I have recorded all information I need to start tracking you down. Its just a matter of time before I find you. Starhub customers are all having a static IP address and its just a matter of time….

By the way, I’m a combat and not a service medic. In fact, I’m in charge of my battalion’s medical team and operations. Azel was pissed off with the fact that he called us service medics. Heheheh… See you in next ICT dude..

Had the nicest dinner ever just now, since I was in Melbourne. At home, in Singapore, I would always have dinner together with my family. The dishes would be served nicely in plates and everyone will sit together and eat. Here, its everyone to his own. Even if we do get together and eat, it would be in a restaurant and not really home cook food, but just now was so different….

At bout 3pm, received a call from Erlina. She wanted me to go over to her house for dinner before going for the movie. Said she was gonna cook for me since I’m so sweet. Lol… I was really touched by the gesture. Finished my sch work at 4.30 and rushed back home to change.

Bought some gifts for her before taking a tram to her house. Can’t go there empty handed can I? Took the tram at 6 and only reach there at 6.30. Sharen fetched me from the tram stop. Erlina was still cooking when I reached there. 15 minutes later, the food was all cooked and the table set nicely. Food sure smells good. Been a while since I sat down together and have home cook food Really appreciate what she’s done. Such a sweet girl.

Left the house at 7.45 to go to Crowns to catch the movie White Chicks. Funny show eventhough a bit unrealistic. Sharen and Erlina sure enjoyed it though. Sat down at a nearby food court after the movie and just spend the rest of the time chit chatting. Took a tram home soon after and reached home bout 12. Just nice for…

Dennes birthday celebration. At the stroke of midnight, Dennes gf brought out the cakes and eveyone sang birthday songs. The cake was good. Michael who was asleep woke up immediately when he heard there was cake. Hahaha… in fact, he was the first one in the queue for the cakes.

Hmmmm today has been a very fun day. Something I’ll definately remember for years to come. One of my most memorable days in Melbourne so far…

Weekend plas quite pack this week. Will be going to a party later with Erlina. Didn’t wanna go actually cos I wanted to stay home and just laze around or catch up on some school work but on second thoughts, going might be fun. Well, I don’t even know the person throwing the party. She’s Erlina’s friend.

Was having some hot chocolate with Erlina and Sharen yesterday evening and that was when she asked if I wanted to follow her for the party. Seems like Sharen was not interested and Erlina didn’t want to go alone. Said she’s a shy girl who will find it hard to mix around. Think she figured that I’m too talkative and thick skin and that I would fit in just fine so she asked me along. LOL…

On sunday, will have to go school in the morning to finish up on my assignments and then in the evening, will be catching a movie. So far, those confirmed going are Erlina, Sharen, Gabriel and Rezza. Been staying home for so many weekends and it sure is boring. Guess its time I get out of the house and start to mingle.
